Fine Grade Operators

Do you enjoy working outside and are looking for a new career? Look no further! Civil Works Contracting is looking for fine-grade bulldozer and excavator operators to join our Heavy Civil Team.

• Pushing, compacting, grading, loading, or hauling of waste and soil
• Follow site grading and operations plans, read grade stakes, and operate in a medium to fine-grade environment
• Operate equipment including but not limited to Excavators and Bulldozers
• Perform daily heavy equipment walk-around inspection and preventative maintenance responsibilities

Requirements:

• Must be able to pass a drug test
• Reliable transportation to and from the job sites
• Attentive to detail and alert at all times to ensure safety
• Experience with heavy hand tools and previous work in an outside environment preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Wilmington, NC 28412: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Heavy equipment operation: 1 year (Preferred)
