CWC successfully delivered the full scope of civil construction services for the Cold Storage Summit project—a 285,640 sq. ft. state-of-the-art cold storage warehouse with four additional offices—executed in partnership with Primus Builders. Our team executed a substantial 23-acre earthwork operation that included the transportation and placement of 84,000 cubic yards of structural fill, precise grading, and the installation of base course stone to support Thin Concrete Paving (TCP) in critical areas such as truck courts and loading zones. Erosion control measures were implemented and maintained in compliance with all applicable BMP and NCGO1 standards, ensuring environmental protection throughout the project.
In addition to the extensive grading and base work, CWC constructed three fully functional retention ponds and installed a comprehensive storm drain system designed to handle site runoff efficiently and in accordance with regulatory requirements. Our team also installed key underground utilities, including sanitary sewer, domestic water, and a fire suppression system, ensuring that all lines were tested, certified, and ready for service. Each utility was integrated with precision and coordination to support the advanced operational needs of the cold storage facility.
Through close collaboration with Primus Builders and other project stakeholders, CWC completed all work safely, on time, and to the highest standards of quality. Our performance on the Cold Storage Summit underscores our capability to manage complex, large-scale site development efforts with confidence and consistency.
