CWC is proud to deliver a comprehensive scope of site development and utility installation services at Argento at Riverlights, a multi-family residential project located in Wilmington, NC. Our team has been responsible for the full execution of demolition, erosion control, earthwork, underground utilities, paving, and site concrete in accordance with detailed plans, specifications, and local jurisdiction requirements. From initial clearing and grubbing operations through fine grading and final site finishes, our scope included the safe removal and off-site disposal of all unsuitable materials, the protection and maintenance of stormwater systems, and the seamless coordination of all work with other trades and subcontractors on site.

Key aspects of this project involved managing all site grading, balancing cut and fill operations, and delivering compacted subgrades to within 0.10' tolerance. Our crews installed and maintained temporary construction entrances, stone mud mats, silt fencing, and other erosion control measures in strict compliance with NCG01 standards. We executed rough and fine grading for building pads, utility trenches, and roadways while importing structural fill and placing engineered stone subbase materials as required. Additionally, CWC installed all underground utilities—including water distribution, fire suppression, sanitary sewer, and storm systems—ensuring timely testing, sterilization, and certification in accordance with municipal and project specifications.

As part of the hardscape package, our team constructed site concrete elements such as curb and gutter, sidewalks, ramps, and A/C pads, all finished to exacting aesthetic and functional standards. Asphalt paving, including aggregate base placement and final surface installation, was executed with proper compaction testing and tack coats to ensure long-term durability. By coordinating closely with Sterling Construction and other stakeholders, CWC completed the work safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of quality, contributing to the successful delivery of this vibrant new residential community.
