CWC has successfully completed the FedEx Ground Parking Lot Expansion project, a fast-tracked development spanning approximately 8 acres. Located directly across from the existing FedEx facility off N. Kerr Avenue, this project was designed to support the growing logistical demands of FedEx by expanding their capacity for trailer, van, and tractor storage.

The scope of work included a carefully phased Erosion Control plan to maintain environmental compliance throughout construction, followed by site clearing, selective demolition, and limited storm drainage improvements. A significant component of the project was the extensive grading plan, designed to optimize site drainage and support the installation of a new pavement surface covering nearly 5 acres.

In addition to the surface improvements, the site was enclosed with controlled access security fencing to ensure operational safety and compliance with FedEx standards. A comprehensive lighting package was also installed to enhance visibility and security during evening and overnight operations.

The project was completed on an accelerated schedule, with CWC leveraging its experienced team and proven project management capabilities to meet the September 2022 deadline and deliver a high-quality facility that supports FedEx’s ongoing growth in the region.
